Slept in this morning while Ken went to climb a volcano. A pack of island dogs decided to join him for the hike. Missing Duckie.
Took my first ever helicopter ride this afternoon — Santorini to Mykonos. Helicopter pilot was from Sweden. My people! I will admit to being a little anxious, but I did not freak out, not even a little bit. #adventurekirsten
Checked into our hotel in Mykonos. It’s a totally different vibe than Santorini. Very lively! And by lively I mean complete chaos.
Tonight, we had ourselves a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Mykonos is the party island of Greece. To experience that atmosphere, we went to the legendary Scorpios, the hippest night club in Mykonos. You have to make reservations months in advance. Or sell a vital organ. I’m not cool enough to get in, I just know people. I was not told I’d need clubbing attire for this trip. Did not bring anything shiny or sparkly.
Best dressed of the night goes to yellow Gucci man. He was my favorite. Cannot believe I left my vape pens in my other purse. The average age of the crowd? Call it 25. I’m sure our group of seven 50+ Americans didn’t stick out at all. Also sure no one in the crowd had Covid. We survived, though. I can’t hear anything, I got stuck in an incense diffuser, I smell like pot, I’m covered in some kind of glitter, and oh my god, I’m sticky. But I will never forget tonight. Ever.
