Kotor, Montenegro 🇲🇪

Slept in a bit this morning and discovered I’d missed both fab abs class and the big screen sudoku challenge on board. Egad. I cannot with all the activities on board this ship.

Went to breakfast and got serenaded by a flock of waitresses singing, “If You’re Happy and You Know It”. If I’m ever singing at breakfast, I’ve had a stroke. Wondered how much more it would cost for the no singing at breakfast package.

Girls and Haydee went to the pool for sun, while I photographed the approach into Kotor, Montenegro (Europe’s southernmost fjord). It was truly spectacular. Just, wow.

Montenegro is roughly the same size as Connecticut. Took a catamaran tour of Kotor Bay. Probably a bit long, but I got to try the local beer, which I cannot even attempt to pronounce, but it was delicious. Put my SPF to the test. Bella made friends with a Montenegrin grasshopper.

Stopped for a couple of hours at a beach club to swim and sun. Or in my case, swim and hide under an umbrella. The girls made fast friends with this adorable little girl from Russia named Sonya. The girls taught Sonya to say “bye-bye”, and in return the girls offered up their best “do svidaniya”. Sonya smiled from ear to ear.

The girls recreated their starfish pose from years and years ago. Nailed it. What a great day.

Tomorrow: Corfu, Greece.
