Travel Day Adventures: From Porto to Seville

Travel day today. We’re moving from Porto to Seville. 🇵🇹 ➡️ 🇪🇸

What is it about spending the day in a giant aluminum tube that makes you feel so gross?

We’re on our way to Seville to meet our very good friends for a few days, in advance of a shooting trip … where Ken will be shooting, and I will be not-shooting.

Portugal wrap-up:

Overall, a home run experience in Portugal. The country is beautiful, and the people are super friendly and welcoming. Not sure I’m in love with the food (everything is covered in egg yolks), but the wines are perfection. Would absolutely make a return trip.

One disappointment: Portugal is not a Fanta Lemon country. You can get Fanta orange and Fanta pineapple, but no lemon. Hopefully, I can get a fix in Spain.

Arrived in Seville. First impressions: gorgeous city. Have never seen so many orange trees. 🍊 Hotel is in a pedestrian only zone, so had to do the cobblestone-schlep with our bags to the hotel. Gorgeous property.

Walked to dinner tonight – I always select our dinner restaurants based on walkability from the hotel. Already passed by numerous stores I need to revisit – to help support the economy of Seville.

Time to close my eyes. 💤

Not a ton of pictures today, so please enjoy these photos of tiles in Portugal.

Saúde & Salud!

  1. Photos of beautiful tiles thoroughly appreciated! Hope you have had a good rest in a comfortable bed! Looking forward to Seville – have not been but get ‘jealous’ every time friends go. Shooting for the pot does not bother at all – it is normal and necessary – loathe gunning poor wild ones beasts for ‘sport’!
